Default Camping with an SV?

Just wondered what types of camping stoves people use when they go camping with their SV?
I've been looking at the old primus stoves...they look good to me..

Ive had a coleman F1 light burner for two years now, very very small, fits in the palm of your hand, excluding the bottle of course, but its very powerful, 4.8kw, boils a 1 litre kettle of water in around 3 mins.

I carry mine inside my kettle when travelling.

They were on discount at go outdoors when i went in earlier this month.

I use a Coleman Sportster Stove because it runs on unleaded so I will always have fuel for cooking. The size is a little larger, but cooking on it is a doddle and it can melt snow for drinking water in next to no time ( I used it on my ML Training too.).

Here is a link to them so you can have a look.

I also have a small gas stove for really lightweight camping, but it does require a gas cylinder rather than the fuel tank on the bike.

I have a small spirit burning stove I bought when I went to Reading festival. Very compact.

Carefully with meths burners . They can flame violently . Mixed water in ours to prevent it but one day it got over looked and a singed tent porch was the result

Tried several over the years and the 100% benefit of what J/F suggests is if you are away for a week or more you do not have to worry about carrying or finding gas cartridges with the right fittings, you can always syphon a 1/2 pint to cook your meal and top up the cooker when you fill up.
On of our company had one last year and I was impressed and the only slight fault I found with it was being able to accurately control the heat when cooking
