Default Do you reckon these car wirelesses are any good?

Just ordered a car for June delivery, it comes with a double DIN slot. Been looking on Ebay, there are lots of variants of this device:

Now for £103 its the cheapest but still looks feature loaded, even a reverse camera. Pay more and get GPS, video recorders, all manner of options.

It looks pretty amazing for the $, anyone seen one?

Wouldn't expect the quality to be very high.

Yes . A chap had one in his D40.
He tried to get it replaced under Nissan warranty. Fail .
The Gps didn't work .
it sounded ok though
if you have an I phone look at Halfords .
we fitted that one (yes we charged to do it).

The reason the fad of motorised radio frontplates died a death was at least inpart because the mechanisms had a tendency to fail.

Just something to be aware of, there are plenty ofplaces around that'll fix them (or you cna do it yourself, they normally just skip a cog on one side)

I dont have any music on my telephone, I listen to French AM radio in the car and a few CD's that would fit on a single memory stick so Idock-ness isnt an issue. Included reverse camera looks neat though.
