Question Fuel range on a Curvy?

Just wondering whats the average fuel range for a full tank on a curvy model with fairing?
How far you get on a run before filling up either on motorway trips or varied road trips will do.

Oh and how many miles can you get when the fuel light comes on?

I was running about 130 miles to fuel light and you can do at least 20 more (never explored the absolute limit of that last).

Cheers

Lou

I get about 180-190 to a tank, i start getting worried when the reserve isn't on by 170, but it hasn't run out yet, the only time i ran out was after 195miles. Thats normally 90ish on motorways for most of it. On bendier roads i start to worry about 150.

Wow that sounds even better. Anything around 150 will do.
I cant remember what size in litres the tank is?

This has been covered rather a lot, a pretty big variation as some commute in cities, some only ride for fun, and some cruise on A roads.

Curvy (99-02) - 16L capacity, reserve light comes on after using around 13L, goes solid after using around 14.5L
Pointy (03+) - 17L capacity, reserve light stages vary by year but are somewhere near the above.

Jeez-louise! That's an efficient machine! Wait... 90ish miles or km? I usually cruise around 85mi. Do I need a serious tune-up?
