Default Radiator Cover Question

Hi all,

I am fairly new to this forum and havent posted anything previously and was wondering if i could have some of your advice.

I have a K7 SV650S and recently purchased a radiator cover for it, however due to buying it unseen and over the phone it appears that i have bought one for a curvy as it states 99-02 on the packaging.
Am i right in thinking that this will not fit my pointy because the guy selling it said it would however im unsure.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Yeah, it won't fit. The 2 models have different rad sizes. He was blagging it to you. Who did you buy it off? You should go for a refund.

Thanks that’s what I thought, Yeah it was only a classified ad in the local paper so I can’t really take it back, I didn’t cost too much so I’ll try and resell it.

Thanks for the help.

Hi,

Well its stands me at £30, so if I can get that for it I would be happy.

It’s a PowerBronze one and is brand new, still sealed and in the original packaging.

I can get a picture of it if you like.

Thanks

I'm sure you'll have no problem selling it on. I have just put a going cheap Beowulf rad guard on my 99 Curvy S. It's meant for the Naked model but as the rad is the same overall size it fits, just had cable tie it on instead of using the fixings on each side.
