One saving grace is if that car did smash him on the head he's wearing a crash helmet and in water. May have gotten away with it.

The harbour crane will have them out in no time.

I don't know about the car, but I'd expect the bike to be a write off because salt water will have *****d the electronics and probably caused corrosion in other parts too.

Yep I reckon so too. Remember a guy on here not long ago managed to ride off a pier into the sea. Don't think he got his bike running again (as far as I can tell from his thread)
