Much more expensive, but I would recommend the cyclone buff. Windproof and great quality. Good for winter sports too.

Oh I agree and have the windstopper type as well as the thinner buff type, these sit somewhere between both of those, for all year round riding, you at times need something warmer than a buff but not as heavy as the windstopper.
