Anyone know any Motorsport companies currently hiring?
So I currently have the problem of not being able to find a placement year in industry. I'm a 2nd year at Coventry University studying Motorsport Engineering and have been looking for a company to do a placement year with this September since before christmas..
Have applied to literally dozens of companies, had several interviews but still no luck! Does anyone know / own / part of a company that would possibly take me on for an interview or something for a placement year? Thanks, Tim |

You might be best going for voluntary/work experience. Motorsport industry is more about who you know, help out at smaller events to get spanner time and get to know people. I did nearly 2 years part time work experience at Arden Motorsport, mostly in the GP3 cars but did work on the GP2 and World Renault Series. Nothing is better than being recommended by a team.
