Jelly Bean Status bar
Anyone know what this Icon means?
 Looks like a battery in the middle, its always there even when being charged.

It means slide the back off and roll the batteries round with your palm like when the tv remote starts to play up/needs new AAAs

It's battery saving mode. When I lock the screen on my Xperia T the wifi and data connections are disabled to save power.

Sony call it "STAMINA mode".
Prolongs battery life by switching off networking when the screen is off. It also has the rev counter icon for battery saving mode, which is when the battery gets low and it disables some functions. You can set both by going into settings and Power management.
