crash on the way to the gmvi
Hi So on the way to Fort Augustus and there was a stag around a left hand bend. I swerved to the other side of the rode to avoid it at which I collided met a car and collided with it at 60mph then summersault down a 15ft ditch. The car was travelling at 40mpg towards me
Then I was air lifted to Dundee with an injured leg, never broke a bone just a small chip. Though my leg is in agony and i am on morphine at the moment bike is a write off I think :-\ got some photos I will put up when I get out of the hospital and on to a computer. Definitely lucky to be alive and what bike to get next? Lol |

Loads of Muntjac around this area and finding one just around a bend is a constant worry. They're only small but...

Re: crash on the way to the gmvi
Jeez, glad you are (relatively) OK. I keep seeing signs on roads warning about high risk of deer recently (on the M9!) and always think I wouldn't fancy colliding with one of those solid built f-ers at any speed, or having one appear out of nowhere.
Meanwhile, I am awestruck by your ability to determine the fuel economy of an oncoming car while hitting it. Damned impressive! Hope you are up and about again soon.

Re: crash on the way to the gmvi
I would have aimed at the stag, then you could have had a BBQ when you get better....great news no broken bits.
GWS.
