Default Bull-it Biker jeans - Abrasion test video

Bull-It have new biker jeans out with their own kevlar type material but it's the only jeans to get CE level 2 approval.
This shows the drag tests which gives some idea as to how long our skin is protected for.
I'd be well impressed with them holding out like that if needed!
Wonder what they're like in this weather

I have just ordered a pair of these as I liked the way they look just like normal jeans, no funny panels all over them. (Well 3 pairs actually as I have no idea yet how their sizing works and this is the first pair JTS have sold as they are a new design.)

My Draggin Jeans shrank so badly when I accidentally washed them on a 40 that I can no longer get them on - and no I haven't piled on loads of weight as all the other jeans I washed at the same time still fit me. And while I love my Sarto Killers combat trousers they are just a bit baggy and flappy when I want to look like I'm just wearing normal jeans.

Anyone got Held jeans in their other designs? Opinions on them?

I bought them up at Link training centre Robjohn's Road near the bowling alley. But I think they may have closed down.

Ok thanks. I might end up trawling around the tail end for some blue camo style ones.

Only thing I don't like about that video is the speeds at which the tests are conducted. Yes they perform well at 30 mph (the speed they appear to be doing) for 5 seconds. What about at higher speeds which you are more than likely doing on a bike?
For round town and low speed driving, with some armour in them they are probably fine.

I had a denim Held suit that stood up to a nasty off and would have bought another but couldn't find a localish stockist where I could try on before buying.

That's why I've had to order 3 sizes but they said they will refund if I return them.
