Default Switchable TRE plugs

Does anyone make or know where to purchase the Switchable TRE lead? found them on another forum but its not in the UK on US forum there $40?

And do they make a massive difference?

Cheers

Mark

Why do you want to switch it? Just disconnect the wire, although I don't think it makes enough of a difference having done it a long time ago.

From memory the timing retard eliminator makes very little difference on the sv. I seem to remember you could do the same mod by cutting a wire so it's not a particularly complex box

Total Retard Entrapment. you'll get better results setting the TPS. the SV does not produce enough horses to make a difference.

Bike in the avatar is a Pointy. TRE works differently on a Pointy - disconnecting wires isn't how it's done.

Saying it doesn't work is to not understand what it does, how or why. There can be a positive effect, but there are downsides, hence why most people who actually understand anything about it make a small plug in loom with a switchable TRE - hence wanting the plugs.

Search SV Portal for a plug supplier.

Thought this was more relevant to SV Talk, rather than stuff wanted so have moved it.
