Default Road Angel biketrac

If you read the last issue of BIKE you will notice that the winner of photograph of the month was.........ME! The SV looking like a rugged touring beast in Southern Ireland.

The prize was a biketrac unit from Road Angel (£299) plus one years free subscription (£99).

That's nearly £400 worth, however, as my bike is only worth about £800 and I can just about afford food these days I'm going to sell it on.

I have spoken to Road Angel and the unit is unregistered so it (the unit) and the subscription can go in anyone's name.

Biketrac can:

Track your bike if nicked giving you it's exact whereabouts and alerting you by phone.

Track your journeys which you can view via your personal data page which has online mapping and other features.

Text chosen people your exact location if the bike leans more than 80 degrees with the ignition on. (Very good idea)

Get you 25% discount from your insurance using Wicked Quotes as the unit is Thatchem cat 6 accredited.

Remain charged from its internal battery for 30 days if the bike is stood without draining the vehicle battery. In the pack there is also a mains charger for the unit anyway.

If you have a desirable bike or the bike is left outside over night or at work I think it's awesome.

£250 ono and its yours

If you have a new, expensive, pride and joy bike and you are interested in protecting it then make me an offer.
There really is no point in fitting £400 worth of tracking equipment to my £800 bike.

Sorry, bad timing. And yes it does seem to be a quality bit of kit. Seems they are recovering lots of nicked bikes
