Default Bike gathering dust :(

It's now been a month since I locked the bike up and put a cover on it before I went off on holiday. I also see no opportunity of getting to get out on it for the remainder of September due to work and my weekends being consumed by family activities.

Anyone else had such a long lay-off when the weather is good, bike's not broken, cash is available and there is nothing medical keeping you off the bike?

Weddings. Bloody weddings. Between the stag do and the actual wedding I only got out on the bike twice last month. Not helped by the fact it was stored in a friends garage so takes a bit of effort to co-ordinate retrieving it.

I was the same so started riding to work and if it is dry I will take a more bendy/quieter route home.

Just have to make the effort in the morning to
-move car that's blocking in the bike
-take cover and various locks off bike
-move bike forward
-reverse car back
-push bike back onto drive
-pre ride checks (sometimes)
-pack top box
-get gear on

Far easier to jump in the car

Fun rides are like that for me most of the time. But I commute on it. Hopefully once I have my car sold I'll be able to buy a Tiger 800, and can get out for rides with Mrs clunk a bit. If I can get it sold in time, hoping to go out to Ireland in october.

I was gonna get some Furygan textiles, and I have an oversuit. Unless there are better textiles I should get for the money (probably about 3-400 squids).

Not gone on any rideouts in what seems like ages, but this loop to henley and surrounding roads are pretty cool. I'm still in the market for our autumnal and winter rideouts, especially now this year I'm equipped with the rst suit and heated grips on the tiger. Just need to get myself a helmet with pinlock as steaming up weather is fast approaching!

I've not been out on it due to medical reasons. I realised how bad the situation when I checked my progress on fuelly. I usually average 7 fill ups and 1200 miles, so far I've not completed a fill up this month! Doubtful i'll be able to go out the next week at least. So September looks like a total wash out
