I've no idea how good these gloves actually are, I would just like to point out to start. however I do know of sealskinz as a brand and being brilliant when it comes to waterproofing etc. I also know that they are pretty darn expensive in general, so getting these at half price is pretty darn good I reckon, I shall see how they are when I can get back on the motorbike in march, but in the meantime I shall be using them throughout the winter cycling everywhere that I can. so I reckon I shall get a good idea of how waterproof they are at least.
have a look n see what y'all think. the description isn't the greatest and the protection doesn't look fantastic, but I shall see... http://www.sportpursuit.com/sales/se...cle-glove-grey# sorry mods for putting here instead of in the 'review' bit, but I think these are worth a look by people and wouldn't want them to get missed being in that part of the forum where they could all very likely be missed by the vast majority of people.

If you go into the link a second time it disappears.
It's one of those feckin annoying membership join me adverts. Chris don't care though, he's a member. The gloves look good value actually. Good spot member Chris. |

Don't know about the gloves but I can say 100% the waterproof socks are the mutts!
Used em when I was mountain biking and very warm and comfy as inside layer was merino wool. Great waterproofing too!

I found the website through facebook, a friend of mine had posted something else and I was having a look through and found these and thought i'd give 'em a go and also thought others on here might want to give them a try.

well I had completely forgotten about this! They are as I expected completely waterproof n good quality, but I'm not sure quite how they'd stand up to a crash. They do have knuckle armour etc which is good, but not overly extensive. In all I would say they're a pretty good quality glove for how much I paid for them, but I certainly wouldn't pay the full price!!
Thanks stretchie for the nudge on replying etc! Lol
