Default Naked Curvy instrument options?

Hey all,

I crashed my SV650 naked last week, and I'm having trouble finding a replacement instrument cluster, so I was wondering what the best option for replacement is? pointy ones, bandit ect or aftermarket? do insurance companies throw a wobbly if you fit nonstandard clocks?

it's annoying my speedo is fine and I'd ideally like to keep it with the original milage but the damn things seem pretty rare!

any opinions options and experiences much appreciated.

trailtech vapor. £120 including warning light panel.. just fitted one to my pointy and it's awful good. you can also permanently set the odometer to keep your mileage. various how-to's around for fitting them to a curvy.

cool I had seen those and thought they look pretty good, any insurance issues with resettable odometer? and how is the tachometer while riding? not sure you can keep mileage on a curvy with a clock change, no ecu being carbs.

mileage is stored in clocks on both bikes.

I fitted GSXR k1 series clocks, really like look of them but a bit of electronic buggering about needed.

Ended up with an acewell, it's looking pretty nice, all wired in pretty much, just a bit of neatening up left to do and a bracket for the speedo pick up.

Even kept original milage on the odo meter! on this model you can change the milage up once then it's locked. nice little thing has all sorts of functions, including a gear position indicator I just discovered, though it works off the rpm and speed rather than the actual gear selected by the gear lever, and needs calibrating, I haven't had the chance to ride with it yet, still working on a few bits and pieces.
