Default Bike Stolen on Christmas Day UPDATE

As you may have seen I posted a couple weeks ago about my SV being stolen on Christmas Day night, I thought I'd make this post to thank you guys for helping me out.

The help you guys offered me along with advice was outstanding and made me feel proud to be part of this forum and in fact the biker community as a whole.

A special thanks to Red Herring who sent me a top yoke for free and refused to let me pay for postage. A big thanks to others that offered to donate other parts as well as come help me sort the wiring.

The bike's wiring has been soldered and recovered in heat shrinking wire wrap and looks better than before, the top yoke fitted perfectly and the bike's due in tomorrow for a tank repair and respray from a company recommended from you guys!

Once again, Thankyou!

The org is the best.
Glad there's a somewhat happy ending and you've recovered the bike!

I'm glad there's a happy ending over this.

Happy to help. Just get yourself a decent lock that you can chain it to something with. This will stop the scrotes coming back for another go. Time to invest in a ground anchor maybe?

If they can't wheel it away, they can't steal it.

Well pleased that it's mostly been sorted
