Default Is this a Yoshimura? (Pic heavy)

Ok chaps and chappesses. I bought my K1 naked curvy with an aftermarket can on it which the seller said was a Yoshimura. It has no markings but I found a Yoshimura tin plate in with the papers. It's a sticker though, no rivet holes on the plate or pipe. It says ''Yoshimura cyclone exhaust system''.

Now I've searched the interweb untill my eyes hurt and can't find much on this Cyclone pipe especialy regarding the SV650 curvy. Most images of other Yoshi models have stampings throughout the product, either on the end of the can above the baffle opening, on a riverted name plate, on the exhaust hanger and even on the plastic pieces on the springs. My pipe has nowt like that.

The reason for my questions is...This system is very quiet. It's way nicer than a stock pipe, with a nice rumble at idle but it gets very quiet when riding the bike. In fact I almost can't hear it all exept a nice gurgle on the over run. All this got me wondering if it's actualy a Yoshi at all.

My plan was to get meself a nice Fuel slip on in black, which would suit the bike, but then (after ordering the Fuel late last night) I had a look at the headers and saw what looks like a full system in place.

So...Is it a Yoshi? Is it a full system? Is so why the hell is it so quiet? It has no removable baffle.

Pics to follow....

I saw a full a system on ebay a year or so ago that looked very similar to that (I think it may have been an Akrapovic), so that may very well be a full Yoshi system. It's certainly a full aftermarket system as it has springs rather than clamps.

You could easily cut a good 3 inches off of that and it'd look way better IMHO and you'd get a bit more of the volume you're after. It's an option if you wanna keep it in there.

Well thanks to your replies I found this old thread...http://forums.sv650.org/showthread.php?t=159188
It certainly looks like mine. Seems like the system was discontinued a few years back. So far I havn't found any cans by Akra which look like mine but if the can doesn't belong to the system the link pipe definately does. Arn't Akra cans supposed to be loud?

@ dkid...Yeah I might end up doing that mate. That said I probaly won't be able to resist asking Fuel for the dimensions of the pipe I ordered. The cheapest option though would be to cancel the Fuel, buy some tools to cut the old pipe and still save some money.

Then again..Anyone know the size of the Fuel inlet, where it joins the link pipe. I ordered the round Carbon look but maybe they're all the same?
