2003 K3 SV650S for spares/repairs.

Having realised that I’m never going to dedicate the time required to fix her up to her former beauty, I’m looking to send her off to someone who will, at the very least, make use of her organs.
Earlier this year I was on my way to the airport when a lovely chap decided to sideswipe me and drive off, she went for a slide on her left (clutch) side and made a mess of her plastics, generator cover and stanchion. After returning from holiday and seeing her in the flesh I was ready to get her fixed up and the scratched generator case was replaced, the nose fairing was replaced and a used stanchion was sourced to straighten up the forks.
Unfortunately, in my eagerness to check how she felt on a short ride around the block, the chain ruptured one of the links and I had to pull over and walk her home – Incidentally when the chain went the clutch lever lost all resistance, just mentioning for disclosure.
Since this incident she has just been sat collecting dust, her MOT has lapsed and it’s time for me to see if anyone else can salvage her or make use of her parts.

Good points:
She used to be pretty.
Spare nose fairing with undertray attached – Bought for respray and never used.
DanMoto conical exhaust fitted - Too loud for me personally but it helped commuting.
Additional set of throttle bodies with a 47bhp restrictor plate.
Starts on the button every time.
Seat cowl, passenger seat, original screen and original exhaust all provided.



Bad points:
She’s a dirty girl.
No chain - obviously.
Left stanchion replacement was pitted and needs replacing/refurb.
Scratched up grab rail.
Rear left fairing is scuffed but not cracked.
Front rim is dented on the left side – Maintains air pressure.
Front subframe is fractured on the left side and will need replacing for peace of mind.
The plastic surrounding the clocks has damaged fittings.

Located in Bradford, West Yorkshire and looking for about £600.

I'm interested in this for the engine. What is the mileage and are you interested in selling the engine separately?

Hi Contour, the engine has done 25,500miles - Unfortunately I'm not willing to sell this individually as I simply don't have the spare time that it would take to sell the bike in parts.

Hi mate is the frame of the bike ok with no scratches? Are the forks straight and holding oil? You mentioned they are pitted just wondered how badly?
