Default Brake pad change

Changed the pads and found only one shim per side on the back of the pads on the front, and no shims on the back of the pads on the rear. Pointy K9 - can anyone confirm that's correct?

there should be a shim per pad on front and the rear should have a shim and an insulator per pad.

ermm.. gone due to someone changing the pads... BTW the rear look like they dont have shims on when you take them off the calliper.

No, I've found photos from the last service record and they weren't there then. Haven't had any squeeling issues. Is yours K9 and could this possibly have changed?

Sort of, if I pull and let go on the brakes really, really fast, I can sort of approximate it.

I can't imagine it's changed. It's probably the same calipers. I'll have a look at a fiche when I have a sec, maybe that will throw some light on it.
