Default AutoKicker Luggage

seems to good to be true http://www.autokicker.com/products.html

the stuff is dirt cheep on ebay.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CARGO-TAIL...item2ece036478

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Autokicker...24824440&rt=nc

was thinking of the cargo tail pack, if its not waterproof then a few cheep dry sacks or rubble bags will sort that out.

hhmm seems positive enough. might just take a punt on the cargo tail pack.

just noticed the pics. there is a rack hidden under the pack to make it look a bit better.. cheeky

Just bought this from Renntec
http://renntec.com/by-product/luggag...l-bag-set.html

Which is the same as this:
http://www.autokicker.com/products/r...l-bag-set.html

Good quality, not overly large but should be big enough for me.

i went ahead and got the cargo tail pack. its pretty well made but no way will it be waterproof unless you use the supplied rain cover, the zips are plain zips and not the rubberised waterproof ones. i personally never trust anything that has a rain cover so i will do what i have always done and that is use rubble bags (black bags are to thin and burst). for £60 its a cracking 'vessel' to put stuff in.

there are 3 main compartments, the two lower outer zips are actually what you would call panniers and then there is the main compartment with the big flap. i think the sizing e.g. of 50ltr is a bit optimistic and i would say that in reality you are looking at around 40 but its still one big murther (more room than my 40ltr top box) and i would say perfect for a week away.

i'm going to bolt this down to a spare seat or cowl (not decided which yet) and keep my cowl in the top of the main compartment so when i stop for the night i can just turn the key take the seat with the pack on all as one unit and put the cowl on.

one more thing, unlike a top box this will pack down so can be easily stored in less space when not in use.

just found out that the zip for the hidden handle leads to a great big mahooosive pocket which would be perfecto for keeping a chain and padlock in.. score

Looks very similar tot he Jofama bag, and the SW Motech Cargobag, but a little bit cheaper than both.

Thanks for the review Bibio - looking into this!

Do you use a tank bag as well? I tried an Aldi / Lidl magnetic one for three nights away at the weekend, but not sure yet if I like something that big in front of me. That combined with a Ram mounted iPhone kind of obscures the speedo.
