Hello from a new member in Scotland - SV650.org

Hi all

Joined your forum, as I'm just about ready to buy myself a bike after about 18 months without one. An SV650 seems like the ideal machine, it will mostly be for commuting and short blasts on a tight-ish budget, and I'll be doing the majority of any work and servicing myself.

Sold my last bike in a house move, but previous bikes include a Bandit 600, Triumph TT600, two F650GSs, a 600 Divvy and GSX600F. Took me that long to work out that I dont really like 4 cylinder bikes

never ridden a twin, but I'm guessing they're not to different to a thumper

Anyhoo, looks like a great forum, standby for a barrage of noobie q's (after using the search button obviously

Oh and I see you have owned a Triumph at some point which means you will fit in on here just fine!

Hello from the other side of Glasgow. The SV is a lovely wee bike you'll enjoy how friendly they are, bit like this place.

I keep saying I'll do some monthly runs but other things get in the way. but have a look in the ECOSSE bit and you can find Bibios Sunday bimble and come out and actually meet a few of the merry band.
