Default How to locate an oil leak? (d675)

Hi,

I've got a bit of an oil leak on the daytona, it seams to be originating from the manual CCT area.

How can I find out where exactly it's coming from (the main screw or from under the body seem to be the most obvious ideas that spring to mind...)

I've read something about an antiperspirant trick or something...

Cheers

Wash off with brake cleaner. Dry it off thoroughly

Then get the baby powder out and lightly talc it.

but... if the engine is clean and dry, won't the baby powder just slide right off?

The oil is very likely to still weep out as it's got a little bit of residual pressure.
It going to stick to the case better than your expect too
