Anyone else spot any silly "deals" on offer today?

I had an email from a well known retailer offering a lens I've been after for a while. I know the normal retail price is around £1,600 as I've been saving towards it but I had to look twice at the "special offer" price of £1,999 on the email. Seriously?

Bought a Dyson Cinetic Big Ball for £279, they may be expensive but they are so well thought out and no filters to clean!

Amazon have just extended their Black Friday sale with "Black Friday:Reloaded". On until Monday.

I think stretching it out for the whole weekend is how it should be.
It's about the start of the Christmas shopping season. Drag it out for the whole weekend and it gets money in the shops earlier, but also smooths out the crush in the run up to Christmas.

Little point in moaning about it being an American import, were all used to grumble that we bought Christmas presents only to see the process plummet on Boxing Day. Note the prices drop before Christmas and still grumble.

I had an email for an online service telling me the Black Friday offer was extended to Monday. An hour later I got the Black Friday offer email telling me of a one day only deal.
Me thinks someone sent them out in the wrong order!

Start of the Christmas shopping is it,well I've got mine done already,the kids get money and Mrs B and I go away,let someone else do the cooking etc,Christmas.....bah humbug !!!

Managed to get a cracking deal on a new mobile phone, just so happens I needed to get a new one when the deals were sent out

Better than the family fallout happening here, just because we aren't keeping an annual tradition, just to keep one person happy.
