just noticed a lot of you have those screen trims on your bikes.
i used to have one on my gsx550 but the plastic coating after a while started to peel off do any of you have this problem??? |

yep mine started doing it about 2 months after i fitted it - not impressed

The primary function of screen trim is to stop the screen shattering into sharp bits in front of you, in the event of a crash.
Much as I'd like to have smart looking trim (yes mine has flaked as well), I'd rather have it on lokking a bit messy than not at all. Cheers Mark.

Yep, mine flaked too, I'll be replacing the screen at some point anyway but once I get the new one on and trimmed, i'll keep the new trim in better nick with touch-up paint or lacquer I think.
