Default LED Indicator Bulbs

Hoping someone can help me on this. I want to replace the indicator bulbs with LED versions. Will these do...? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...sPageName=WDVW

Secondly I know they're going to flash to fast. I wish to find the flasher unit and build a new one. Is this the black box at the back of bike further back under rear seat??

The flasher unit is not under the rear seat that's your ignition box. Flasher uinit is much smaller and down near the battery 2 pin or 3 pin can't remember which coz All I've done is clean mine.

Right thanks, anyone know if these bulbs will fit?

I'll design a circuit and post here if anyones thinking of ditching the parallel resistors. Will comprise of two transistors, couple resistors and capacitors. Very easy.

Sounds like an astable multivibrator to me!

DOH!

Yes please. I think its the only way of getting reasonable performance.

The flasher unit is under the riders seat and is, bizarrely, incorporated into the ignition cut out relay.

I'll have to try and get a schematic then.

I had a look at the flasher unit today. It's a simple relay flasher. The good part is I can use the same housing, new circuit board and same connectors to create an identical plugin unit. The problem is the circuit board within the flasher unit has been glued in heavily. I'll have to find a way to get rid of that glue.
