Either looks good, but I'd go colour coordinated every time...

Hey,
Agreed. I had that issue too. But over silver and black. I stuck to colour coated like Northwind said and haven't looked back. I think black will look like you are 'dry fitting' it and it's waiting to be painted... I think I just told you what to do... I think... I have the whip now... ![]() ![]() ![]() Mitch |

Go for yellow... better to be looking like Pac Man than a Bumble Bee!
£60 from Skidmarx - the fit is excellent (integral chainguard) but I can't speak for the colour match. |

I have a black bike with a silver hugger. The hugger came with the bike (not fitted) and at first I couldn't understand why the previous owner wanted to have a silver hugger on a black bike, but once I fitted it I understood. It looked more colour matched in silver than black. Seeing as most of the rest of the bike around that area was silver anyway. Also silver and black naturally go together.
Well I think it looked good anyway |

I wonder whether the trend for K5's will be for black huggers to match the frame rather than the bodywork for this very reason. Could look quite slick methinks.

You did ask for others opinions on the colour for the hugger. So not just to be different, but I like the flat black or carbon fiber look myself.

Carbon fibre looks pretty good on a yellow bike, I'll give you that... not a fan of carbon-look at all, but it's grown on me recently. As long as it's a good carbon look and not one of the really rubbish ones
