Hi Folks
Can anyone recommend a service centre in the East Midlands that know how to accurately setup my suspension for my weight and do all the damping, static sag etc etc. Have read the stuff in magazines about measuring between 2 points and adjusting from that etc etc but I'm not very good with mechanical things and just haven't got the confidence to start playing round with settings myself. I have read of people getting it set up at Öhlins vans at shows and stuff but I don't know of a place based anywhere around here. Thanks |

you could do worse than give rhencullen a try. they are based just outside of hinckley, leics, on the a5. they know they're stuff as they race and also set up race bikes. they are pretty good on prices and are very helpful.

Great, thanks! They are only just down the road really.
Makes a nice excuse to get the bike out for a run as well! ![]() |

I'd only do that if you planned to upgrade your suspension. The only thing you can change with the stock suspension is preload, and thats simple enough that you can do on your own (well, with some help from mates).

Ahh!
![]() So I can only adjust the little things on the yoke for the front - they are on stock settings at moment (3 out I think) and I assume there is another thing somewhere at the back to adjust that one (where is the rear adjust?) I go out with friends at weekends on back roads and A roads scratching and also will be touring around Europe later this year. Any idea what would be ideal for a porky bugger like me of around 15 1/2 stone for fast road riding? |
