Default Aaargh! help help! :(

I just replaced my clutch lever and gear lever... now when the engine is running i cant select any gear i can usually get first but the lever is rock hard and cant select any other gear. When i turn the engine off i can select the gears with ease...
Can anyone help? (gotta get into work tomorrow night :/ )

also i think its the clutch line that goes in just over where the push rod goes? theres 2 nuts there that just spin freely :/

Many thanks in advance

Yours beggingly

Iain

have you checked out the diags in the manuals published on this site? Sounds like you need to double check everything. The push rod has a very specific adjustment screwed in till resistance is felt, then backed off a 1/4 turn (or is it 1/2). Sorry that's not so specific! check out the manuals.

You've not adjusted the clutch cable where it goes in behind the sprocket cover then?

That'll be your problem. If you're still struggling tomorrow I might be able to help, that is if you're not going to work before 6.

Iain, I'm finished about lunchtime, so if this is still an issue I could call in on my way through south London (don't know where you are) if that's any help?

Will check this thread again before setting of home at about 12.

Cheers Mark.
