Default Scraped my riding boot this morning!!

Hi There

Well testament to the cornering ability of the old SV!! This morning I took a tight right hander and managed to scrape my right boot on the tar!! I got a huge fright but just kept powering through!! What a rush!

My bike did not even hiccup and I am sure had I wanted more lean angle it would have handled it!! That inspired confidence for sure!!

So let's hear from the SV massive out there what you guys have scraped while cornering and how you handled it??

You had to have stayed on two wheels all the way, falls don't count

...assume you had your foot on the pegs Morpheus... cos it don't count if you had your leg out like a dirt bike rider.

I had to scrape out the gusset of my shorts after coming too fast down Home moss near holmfirth on sunday, came down way too fast had to come down from 100+ to about 25 down hill and realised the speed wasnt coming off fast enough, had a choice of steering or braking, decided to brake cos the road was slick, actually got to the part where you start praying cos i was sure i was going cross the centre line and run out of road, just managed to get the speed of and tipped into the bend at about 15 mph,

felt like a real pro.

spent the rest of the ride wondering what my funeral would have been like.

scary scary

Yeah foot on the pegs. My foot was not flush with the peg that's why I scraped it I suppose otherwise it would have been the peg

last time i came down there it was without the engine running and the alarm blaring... darn transmitter blocked my alarm keyfob signal. So no peg scraping for me that day

Hanging your foot off the peg or riding "duck foot" doesn't count.
