Little sight glass on left side at front left of tank . Visible (just) thru frame on a naked K4.
Looks like a little ...dont know...maybe a ...????? |

It's a small window to allow you to inspect the quality of fuel in your tank. Because it's at a low-point, it should allow you to see any debris that may have settled, and also if there's water in the fuel.
I've never really looked at it, but whenever I have, it's been fine - though I admit you've got to know what you're looking for. So long as you avoid supermarket petrol, you'll be fine!

Do you mean the "upside down dome" with a pink tint to it (held in place with a sort of sprung clip)?
On the subject of "wot is this" What are the things towards the end of the swingarm, near the back wheel, that are underneath it? They sort of look like fat, thick washers. Any ideas? |
