You need to heat the area with a hair dryer, then peel off the transparent sticker ontop of the sticker (you don't even realise it's there).
Continue to heat, and using a plastic card (not anything you want as the haet from the hair dryer tends to melt it) push the sides of the sticker up to peel it off. Once all the plastic is removed (it takes ****ing ages) use wd40 to remove the residue before finally using a bit of car wax to finish it off. If you have an 'S' then the sticker on the inside of the fairing, infront of the brake lever is a lot easier to get off. I wouldn't try petrol, and definately not in conjunction with the hair dryer |

Hey, I got the warning sticker off the tank, and no it is NOT under clearcoat. The sticker itself has a clear primary layer, that's all. Hairdryer, razor blade and 91% rubbing alcohol.

I just lifted a corner then grabbed them with a set of pliers and gently pulled back. Cleared the residue with a bit of WD40, quick wash of the area and polish. Bob's yer Auntie's live in lover.

4 Step Guide to Removing Safety Stickers.
1. Boil kettle. 2. Pour a small amount of hot water on sticker. 3. Gentley lift off sticker, it should come away without a problem. 4. Make a nice cup of coffee. |

i intend to take the stickers off mine, but i was wondering, is there any legal requirement for any of these stickers to be on the bike, or more likely is it just Suzuki covering theie backsides in case people try to sue for not being warned that...
motorcylces are dangerous.........altough i think if you didnt realise that then you must be dead already. |

There is a legal requirement for the stickers to be there when the bike is first sold, thats it. Pretty stupid.
