Default Leaning

How far can the SV be leant over* before either:

a) it lowsides
b) slides, digs-in and then highsides?

* <sup> assuming a standard, dry, clean road - ambient temperature 18 degrees C. </sup>

Depends on the tyres, the setup, the road and the rider, basically. There's no absolute answer. I will say that on good tyres and the right road you can grind your pegs before you run out of grip, no problem.

Yeah. You can usually either hear yourself think something along the lines of 'Oh ****e'. After that enjoy the ride

Cheers

The back will slide/step out quite nicely (It must look really cool, quite scary when you first do it though)

Although saying that i've not had my pegs down on my S (Did on a N though, completly unintentionally)

I have scraped my bar end mirror as well as my brake pedal, exauts pipe & can and my saddlebags no, I don't want to lean that far on a regular basis, I still think I crashed, but somehow the SV uprighted itself perfect at the exit of the blind decreasing radius corner I took a little hot.

what I lernt, don't panic, countersteer to hold you line, and no abrupt throttle or brake inputs at that tilt

A very long way.
You'll easily scrape pegs before it'll give you any problems.

yer i scaped the pegs today , had the mrs on the back too - though i expect that would be considered cheating since the bike is a lot lower with us both on... certainly wasn't about to lowside anyway
