Default Balancing an Injected SV?

Leading from another post on here to do with balancing carbs on the curvey SV's. I'm vaguely aware that some similar kind of maintenance needs to be addressed on the injected SV's (K3+).

Can anyone enlighten me? Mr Squid? Rictus?

And there was me thinking you were going for a world record attempt from the title!!

I believe it's the throttle bodies that need balancing - don't know any more than that but I'm sure someone who does will have some useful input soon!!!

I've been thinking of doing this myself, for the last fortnight or so.
Idle is all cacked up and it doesn't pull quite as nicely as it might. There might even be a slight hesitation with a quick roll on, though I'm not sure of that yet.

The principle of balance the throttle bodies with FI is the same as balancing them with carbs (pretty much the same components, to some degree)

I might give this a try at the weekend. all looks relatively simple. I'm not 100% on the construction of a manometer tho. Long time since physics lessons but I seem to recall it being a lpeice of tubing bent into a U and half filled with water. Am I missing something? Is it that simple or does it have to have specific dimensions or a denser liquid.

It's not the can that makes it necessary. As they get used throttle bodies go out of adjustment. Since we have 2 cylinders we want operating at the same rate, so we have to balance them.
