Default New End Can - should I expect trouble?

Just had a new end can fitted (the Scorpion removable baffle jobbie) and was planning on keeping baffle in most of the times, and taking out at weekends etc.

But took the baffle out earlier and the bike sounds so much better that I just couldn't bring myself to put it back in, so going to keep it out

Can I expect more attention from the police, or so long as I ride in my normal sensible manner ( ) should I generally be OK?

Ta.

You'll be fine if you tend to behave yourself

You should be fine if you are being sensible.

The police may have a crackdown near meets etc and be giving the bikes a check every now and again but I reckon a £30 fine is well worth the extra grin factor.

You'll be fine as long as it does not have "not for road use" on it.... even then.. you'll be ok.. i rode around with my SV for nearly 2 years with a race can, and nothing happened.... when i see a cop car, i tend to keep the revs low....

Don't worry mate, you'll be ok..... as said.. when you go too big meetings.. put yer baffle in...

You'll be fine as long as you dont ride like a fool, the police will leave you alone

Check with Baldyman as he's down your neck of the woods
We eventually persuaded him to remove his baffle, and I don't think he's had any trouble

Thanks.

Great - no baffle it is then

(When I picked the can up, was told story of a guy stopped by the police who claimed the baffle must have 'fallen out' without him realising. PC asked to see under the seat, where it so happened said baffle was stored - a lot of apologising methinks!)

A SV with a race can is a lot less raucous than a IL4.
Compared to one of them you'll be attracting a lot less attention.
Don't worry about it, have a blast
