Ive been looking at cleaning my front forks but need to have free play in the front of the bike. I have a rear and front paddock stand setup so would I be able to put a support underneath the bike to allow me to remove the front stand when working on the forks?
What do other people use for this? |

Have a look at this site to see an example of how you could do it...

That link was good but it doesn't really explain much. I can see that a jacks being used but what sort of protection would u use and where would you position it specifically?

I would suggest a plank of wood on top of a crate directly underneath the crankcase.
The wood is relatively soft and won't damage the engine. Not done this myself. |
