Carlisle-longtown-canonby-newcastleton-kielder-bellingham-wark-hexam-a69 to milton-slaggyford-HARTSIDE-Penrith-Carlisle
and never got wet once   all the way. view off hartside looked daunting though   however the roads were dry and i went up and down 3 times  i know, i know, some will say boring , boring, boring, but believe me it's just Pure Pleasure

Stockport - Tickle Trout (meet pals) - Devils (1st time ever) Kendal - Shap - Penrith - Hartside (1st time ever. Dry up, wet down) - Penrith - Home. Got wet a few times but nowt too much.

Saturday:
Skipton-Settle-Ribblehead-Devil's-Sedbergh-Hawes-Leyburn-Buckden-Skipton....at good speed, in splendid company and in blazing sunshine. OK, so I lied about the sunshine....but it was good practice for Sunday's ride: Skipton-Gisburn...at a nice steady pace until I looked over my shoulder. Gisburn-Skipton... flat-bloody-out to get home before the approaching arctic hailstorm. Obviously missing the Team Leader to fix the weather.... |

Fantastic
I love the 'Cat' as you know but this was just superb. Got a clearish dry run going up and had a blast but even the wet run down was cool. Brew was also good. Was up there from about 2:20 to 2:45. Did I miss you by much?Ratty
