Default oil cooler covers...

do oil cooler covers make the bike overheat/run hotter than normal?

My dad had one on his bandit 1200 but as the bike did not have a temperature gauge he took the grille off.

my bike runs between 85oC and 92oC and the hightst i have seen it is 106oC (in standing traffic)

The temperatures you gave are completely normal.
Technically speaking the covers could make the radiators a little less effective, since they reduce the airflow slightly. In reality while you're moving, there is more than enough flow anyway and if you're standing it doesn't make a great deal of difference.
