It'll be fine. There you go

Just msak off anything you're worried you might hit with packing or gaffer tape and newspaper, can't go wrong. And mark your line well with a marker as well. but most of all don't try and do it with a 10-year old rusty junior hacksaw blade, you'll want a new one. I went through about 3 blades, the double-wall of the pipe makes it easy to get hteblades stuchk so have some spares

It is by far a lot easier with an angle grinder.

Mark the line to cut with a big fat marker pen and just keep the saw on the line, that way you can check and make sure that you are cutting a straight line and not going off at an angle.
