yep... IIRC anything over 150mph is a custodial sentence in addition to the ban...

Daft... there's a young guy - 20s - near me who has an old Honda - RVF 400 I think... often I'll see him howling away from the lights and up to the ton... in the 30 limit. Stuff like this just gives them more ammo to push up the age, restrict the power, etc.

It may go worse for him - sure I've read that people serving in the armed forces get the book thrown at them if they get criminal convictions - can get chucked out, court martialled, etc. - much worse than joe public doing the same thing. That's assuming the bit about the Navy means he's serving in it...
