Hey all,
Im heading over to Cornwall(from Ireland) next month to do a few days of kite-surfing (introduction!) and not sure if i should go on the bike or what. So, any advice on what the weather is usually like around there in july would be appreciated. Anyone into kitesurfing who can point me in the right direction for buying stuff also appreciated. Will prob be heading up to Hereford/Droitwich to visit some family so anyone interested in meeting up for a spin let me know. |

Cornwall in July is usually...........
Hot, cold, warm, sunny, wet, misty, windy, thundery, showery etc etc. You could be lucky and have a great few days or it could pi$$ down every day. ![]() No idea on kite surfing, but loads of surfing shops around Newquay. |

cornwall in july can litraly be any weather condition. two days ago it was blistering sunshine and now it is fogged right up. north coast is pretty, but you dont get a proper cornish vibe. newquay is ok but it is turning in to a mini ibza. perronporth is a good choice. got a lovely beach there. if you want twisties its a good bet. no cornish road is staight. hope this helps. jamie

OK..its a tradeoff between biking and getting cheap kite-surfing gear.....which i need the car to bring back.
The bike costs 180 return on the ferry...the car 300...... I havent used the car in about 3 months..... .......Bike wins........ next up......kite-biking ! |
