head light bulb - SV650.org

hi all. i am after getting a headlight bulb for the sv seeing that one of my high beem ones has died. it says in the service manual that you need a 45/45w bulb. i havent been able to get hold of one. is it essencial to have this power rateing only and if so were would i get one. many thanks. jamie

I wouldn't bother with the standard bulbs they're not very good.

Upgrade them, I've used Lucas H4 60/55W Xeon, much brighter and I've had no problems, cost £9.99 at my local motor factors.

If you do a search you'll find that there have been other recommendations including suppliers.
