Default Most powerful?

Whats the most powerful or better yet the most terrifying bike youve been on? And why?

I say that because although my Dads 1200 bandit is pretty tame in power terms with around 95-100bhp,its an absolute beast

Its down on power on my ninja but no need for gears, just ride that wave of torque this bike makes the scenery very blurry very quickly. I can see why wheelie schools use these things

The reason why its terrifying though is the frame just cant cope with the power. If you accelerate hard you can feel and hear the chain crying for mercy and the chassis flexes. Feels like the front ends pointing in a different direction to the back. Can be a bit unnerving...

Awesome bike though. So come on,spill.....

Most powerful bike was an FJR1300, not terrifying at all, just bland. Pity, as I really quite fancied one until I rode it. Capable oh yes, just sadly not for me.

Rictus01's Speed triple with a daytona engine...130ish bhp i believe

The biggest would be a moto guzzi california ev 1200cc pushing out a whole 73.5bhp

Most powerful is my Speed Triple 1050. It's an absolute torque monster. The torque curve is pretty much flat from 3000rpm onwards and it accelerates faster than I've dared try so far. It tried to pull a wheelie just filtering through traffic yesterday.

Most powerful is my zx9r but its a pussycat if you are sensible.
Most scary is a different matter.I recently saw a Kwak 750 h2? two stroke tripple in a local petrol station an d that brought back memories of riding the 500 version.OMG,it went when you hit the powerband and did not stop.It had a hinge where most bikes have a swingarm and the tyres were made of wood.

The new R1. Isnt that 172bhp?

Also the Fazer thou at about 140. Then there was the VFR800 ???bhp.

All in the drivers seat.

Most of the other bikes i've had or ridden were around the 100bhp mark apart from my old 125 and the SV.

Sorry - have to disagree with you.

As the former owner of a lovely 1200 Bandit I can honestly say that I never suffered any of what you mentioned - although as I type this I've just thought of something - mine was an 'old shape' (proper) Bandit I've never ridden one of the 'new' shape ones - could it be that yours was of this ilk ??

Anyway, the biggest bike I've ever ridden was the previously mentioned Bandit, but the scariest is a K1 Gixxer Thou with cut back fairing & Renthal bars - damn thing just wants to look at the sky all the time !!!
