Default SV650S Third Eye Mod

Ive had headlight covers for my sv for quite a while now and have a black screen, the only thing not black (bar the indicators) was the third eye (the middle light) Someone filled his in a while back (cant remember name ) but i was keen to keep it. So instead created a headlight cover.

You can clearly see it on the third photo, I didnt know how it was gonna turn out until I did it and doesnt seem to bad, You can still see the light behind it but ideally it would of been a lighter black.

Anyway just thought id get some feedback!

Heh the same plastic as the screen. I dropped the SV accidently a while ago, the crash bungs did their job but the screen managed to hit a bookcase that was in the garage at the time

Its quite a bit thicker and more dense than the headlight protectors

Theres no cracks on her! must be the light

Use heavy duty black velcro from Halfrauds, It works pretty well and means I can take them off at night. Though looks like its got bushy eyebrows when you take them off

Just gotta change indicators but im picky and must get the right ones

Haha made ya look yeah must be the light

I know what you mean with the eyebrows,my ninja grew a pair when I had iridium lenses on for a while!

I dont know if this is a problem for others but id say dont get the flush fitting ones that motrax do. Ive fitted them to the front of mine and it started blowing fuses. Indicators stopped working then when I put a bigger fuse in it blew the alarm fuse. Messed up the whole wiring and ended up having to cut the bloody alarm out

All for little indicators that people cant see!

now if you can make it flip up like an MX5 headlight I'll be really impressed

although having an sv behind me that looks like it's winking could be off putting
