I have a pointy.
I am looking at getting an exhaust system that is has been designed for a curvy. Is it poss to swap it onto mine with only getting the can supports redone? will it fit on my header bolts? will the bulky subframe accomodate the pipes? any probs as cans are designed for carbed engine, not injection? please tell me it will work! |

As Cloggsy says, they are different. The problem is mostly the pipework, since it's a pain to have modified or do yourself. Let's face it, if you could easily do mods to the pipework you wouldn't need to buy a complete system.

Silly question
Why not just buy a system for a pointy and save yourself the hassle ?

Completely different is a bit of an exaggeration. For instance, the Micron system for the carbed bikes can apparently be fitted to the injected bikes with minimal modification... Though don't quote me. But different enough to make it a ****ard would be fair
