Default Poly26 or Suzuki lowers, cant decide!

Hi, just about to take delivery of an SV650s - Its a K3, registered Oct 03, 1900 miles, mint condition and got it for £2950. I love the styling, but think it needs something else on the lower part. I'm undecided between the Suzuki lowes or the Poly26 bellypan. Can get the lowers for £375 delivered or the Poly26 bellypan for £100ish plus painting.

Anyway, have found some photos of each, like to know what the SV community thinks! (sorry if they are your bikes, hope you don't mind )

I agree the pointies do look like there is some thing missing they need some thing, Full suzuki lowers IMO.

Poly 26 lowers, as opposed to the belly pan, I think.

Reckon that top pic is Dr Rich's old bike, sure he is the only one who had a blue flame can with the "blueing" effect on the back of it not the front

Suzuki lowers look better IMHO

You're clearly blind!

The Poly26 belly pan is clearly a lovely bit of kit.. indeed I'll be ordering mine any day now. However, their Lowers are something else! They're totally inappropriate for the bike - curvy, flat, and poorly sculpted, they look totally out of place on the pointy SV.

If it's between Suzy Lowers or a Poly26 pan... then I'd choose the Pan. It's cheaper, and easier to remove when doing services etc. The Suzy lowers, as lovely as they are, are overpriced, and look like a blank wall - completely unfinished.

Maybe. I don't personally like the suzuki lowers or bellypan very much, the poly 26 is an improvement, but not a huge one. I do mildly like the poly 26 lowers, though.
I personally won't be putting any of those on my bike, though next year once I have another bike on the road I may put a race fairing on the SV.

Agreed, the bellypan is nice, but if the pol26 full fairings were available ready colour-matched I'd choose them over everything.

Bellypan

I think pointies look better without the lowers.

Clearly Mr BillyC is right, the Suzuki Lowers, lovely as they are are common and I think the bike looks better, thinner and nicely finished with the rather nice belly pan shown above!
