Best place to Sell?
What is generally considered the best place to sell a bike?
Autotrader, Biketrader, or Ebay? If placing an advert with Biketrader, is it worth paying extra to put it into their magazinf, or is it reckoned their website will be sufficient? Oppinins Appreciated. Ali. |

I just bought a bike and used the Autotrader website. A few years ago when I sold my NSR125 for £400 I used Bike trader and could have sold it 20 x over phone never stopped.

IMO I reckon dedicated bike selling publications are going to be the best.

autotrader best for selling at higher prices... loot good for buying at lower prices. Actually made money on buying/selling first bike this way

I'm sick of eBay, just about everything goes for under book value and you struggle to get what you want for your bike. Autotrader is a good bet, it's a quality, well used website.

Try local press first, I'd say... Far less coverage, but then again most viewers will be fairly local anyway. Depends how fast you want to sell, mind..
