Default Scottoiler

I've fitted a scottoiler to my SV650 and it keeps draining out whatever setting I put it on. I've checked all connections and all are okay. Anybody got any ideas what could be wrong?

How quickly?

It could be that you have a stuck plunger, the yellow bit inside the canister, sometimes they come like that from production.

Someone will probably come soon and tell you how to sort it out, otherwise send it back to Scottoiler.

If it drains out even when the vacuum connection is removed then I'd go with the stuck plunger theory.

Give Scottoil a ring and ask, they are ace with after-sales service. If there's any doubt I'm sure they'll just replace it.

when I first installed my scottoiler, mine wouldn't shut off, close inspection revealed that the first time I started it, the vacuum line melted where it passed to close to something hot and sealed it so I had constant vacuum
