Default LED Bolts

I know a few of you chaps have put on tail tidys and used LED bolts to Illuminate the number plate, my question is, how good are they and where did you get them. I have seen some which are the normal bolt type and some which are more of a projector like chavs have in their nova footwells, I'm trying to work out which is best suited for what I want.

cheers

I think he means the bolts with the LEDs in the head.

Cheers, I just wanted to check, I got some from ebay for $0.75/Pair vs. $12 for the projector type ones, no point paying for what I don't need.

Well law might be diffrent where you are, but putting any light for the number plate you need to make sure that it is not directly visible from behind. LED bolts at the rear of the bike unfortunatly will usaly end you up in trouble with the plod here if they can see them.

Whilst technically correct, you'd have to upset Mr Plod doing something else for him to give you a tug just for that. It's a pretty popular way of lighting the number plate after removing the rear fender.
