Default anti fog visor

just wondered how you cope with this time of year (visor fogging n low sunlight) mostly as i just bought a Hyper optiks light reactive anti-fog visor insert for me arai (try saying that sloshed). i tried all the usual items on sale but would highly recomend this. simple to fit and very effective. best bit of cash i have spent lately. if you get the chance to look through one in shop give it a go. states on pack "product may increase backglare when used at night" but i have not found this a problem at all personally.

This is what I'm going to get around to sorting soon. I've already tried a Fog City insert and whilst its fine during summer, I found it practically dangerous in rainy conditions at night in built up areas because of the glare.

And yet I've had no problems with my Fog city and I ride all year.. 130 miles a day. You just have to remember to clean it every trip.

I had exactly the same problem as Kate, and it's nothing to do with cleaning it.

Me too. Got rid of the fog city and got a mask. Much better (I wear glasses).

Might well be how you fitted it.. Jax did both mine.. in the Caberg and KBC. Never had any problems.

Pop into your local SCUBA Diving place and get hold of some mask clear about £1 a bottle works a treat on Visors and diving masks believe it or not

Good for about 20-30 applications

Nothing to do with it, nor the fitting. I think some people are more aware of the glare and halo's than others.

When I've gone through London at night and its been raining, I couldn't see anything because it was so bad so I had to have the visor up. It was the last resort, but I had narrowly missed hitting a car as I couldn't differentiate it from all the glares and doubles from all the street lights and other vehicles on the road.

Currently have a mask which helps, but I still mist up if I'm stationary for too long. I just haven't got around to getting the pinlock solution sorted yet.
