Default Bluetooth head-set...

I'm after a Bluetooth head set for my mobile, preferably one which will fit inside my lid, so not one of those ones which stick out of your ear & make you look like an extra off the 70's Star Trek set Any brand/model ideas

Oh, and how much

No go with the "inside the lid" part, me thinks.

I've got 3 BT headsets (don't ask...), Jabra 250, SonyEricsson HBH600 and Nokia HS11W. From these 3, the Jabra is the only one that might go inside a helmet because it's designed to be hidden around and behind your ear, not on the outside as the other two. That said, mine fell off 2 out of the 3 times I've tried to put the helmet wearing it. The 3rd time it tried to rip my ear off when removing said helmet, so I stopped there.

Besides, the mic placement would render it useless because it would be hidden inside the helmet lining, or worse yet, pointing down below it - straight on the wind's path. The person on the other side wouldn't be happy at all.

I've successfully tried a corded heaset (the Nokia stereo one that comes with the 6630 / 6680), provided you find a way to hold the mic in place near your mouth inside the helmet (cord trapped behind some lining is a good idea).

If you really must go BT, Dainese make a helmet with BT built in, you might want to take a look at that...

OTOH, if you forget the lid part and opt for a "normal use" headset, I find the SonyEricsson HBH600 to be excellent, but fiddly with my nokia 6630 phone (hence my third BT headset...).

You could try this:

Or I have something at home like this:

I can't use it as it wouldn't stay in my ear.. worked really well though..
